After two busy days spent in the city, Friday spent baby shopping and yesterday spent wandering around the museum with Evan having some well needed mother and son time, today we decided to take things a little slower.
This morning I cooked up a big pan full of corned beef stew (don't knock it until you try it!) and we packed a bag full of food and a big blanket and set off. We made our way down the river, stopping every now and then to watch a squirrel scurry across the ground looking for food. The leaves are falling quick and fast creating a beautiful blanket of colours along the path. Evan gathered some gorgeous leaves ready for us to dry and create something with.
We spotted the perfect bench and set our blanket and food upon the table. It was getting really chilly so I was definitely glad for the big bowl of hot stew and the warm scarf around my neck.
After filling our bellies we made the slow walk home. Dan took these lovely photos of me which I'm actually really happy with for once. I'm so fussy when it comes to other people taking photos, I guess that's natural though when you're the one that's always behind the lense.
My bump is getting bigger and bigger by the day! We are actually finding out the sex of the baby on Tuesday at our anomaly scan and I'm so excited I could scream from the rooftops!
So, how have you spent your Sunday?
